RETURN & REFUND POLICY


1. Disclaimer

  • All items sold on TheBagDrop.com are authentic, second-hand luxury items.
  • As pre-owned products, they may naturally show signs of previous wear and use.
  • Each bag is carefully inspected, photographed, and documented before sale.
  • Product descriptions include detailed information about condition, wear, imperfections, and all included accessories (dust bag, box, authentication card, straps, etc.).
  • What is described and shown in the listing is exactly what you will receive. 


2. Return Period

  • European Union customers:
    You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your item.
  • Customers outside the European Union:
    All sales are final. Returns are not accepted.

3. Return Eligibility Requirements

Due to the nature of second-hand luxury goods, returns are only accepted if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The customer is resident in the European Union
  • The security seal is intact and unbroken
  • The item is returned in exactly the same condition as received (unworn, unused, no signs of handling)
  • All original packaging and accessories are included.


4. Non-Returnable Items

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Bags marked as final sale, ultra-promotional, or heavily discounted
  • Items with broken, removed, or tampered security seals
  • Items showing signs of use, wear, or handling beyond inspection
  • Items returned without original packaging or accessories
  • Items damaged due to customer handling or storage
  • Gift cards


5. Return Process

  1. Contact us at support@thebagdrop.com within 14 days of delivery
  2. Do not use the item or break the security seal
  3. Wait for return authorization (Unauthorized returns will be refused)
  4. Once approved, return instructions and address will be provided.


6. Return Shipping & Fees

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility
  • We strongly recommend insured and tracked shipping
  • The item must be securely packaged in its original packaging
  • Risk of loss or damage during return shipping remains with the customer
  • Approved refunds are subject to a 5% transaction fee deduction (non-recoverable payment processing fees). This doesn't apply when the payment was made via bank transfer.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • The cost of an additional Entrupy certificate issued upon request is not refundable.


7. Inspection & Refunds

All returned items undergo a thorough inspection, including:

  • Verification of the security seal
  • Condition comparison with pre-shipment documentation
  • Authenticity verification

If the item:

  • Shows signs of use
  • Has a broken seal
  • Differs from the original item sent

The return will be rejected and the item will be returned at the customer’s expense.

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days of item receipt.


8. Fraud Prevention

  • We document all items with detailed photographs, serial numbers, and condition reports before shipping
  • Any discrepancies between the item sent and returned will result in rejection and potential legal action
  • Switching items, damaging goods after receipt, or breaking security seals constitutes fraud and will be prosecuted.


9. Damages During Transportation

If your item arrives damaged due to courier mishandling:


9.1. IMPORTANT DOCUMENT BEFORE OPENING

  • Photograph or video the sealed package from all sides
  • Record the opening process
  • Document internal packaging and the item
  • Do not break the security seal


9.2. FILLING A CLAIM

  • Contact support@thebagdrop.com within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide all photos/videos
  • If courier damage is confirmed:
    - We will issue a return label
    - File an insurance claim on your behalf
    - Offer a full refund or replacement (no deductions).


9.3 WITHOUT PROPER DOCUMENTATION, INSURANCE CLAIMS CANNOT BE PROCESSED!


Important Note: 

  • We carefully inspect, photograph, and securely package every bag before shipping.
  • Any damage to the item itself (not just packaging) indicates courier mishandling during transit.
  • Without proper documentation of the unopened parcel, insurance claims cannot be processed and returns may not be approved.
